INEXPLICABLE AND MYSTERIOUS - IN OUR WORLD (GEORGY IVANOV'S STORIES OF THE SECOND "NOVELISTIC PERIOD")
Georgy Ivanov is one of the brightest figures of the Russian diaspora. The poet, novelist, critic, memoirist, he is among those names which have changed literary and historical map of Russian culture of the XX century. First of all Ivanov is a poet of great significance. But even if the winds of time stored only his prosaic heritage, then it would be worth working to bring it together and to study. Because in it the writer is also a big creator with brilliant and fascinating style, charming master, whose feather, according to Roman Gul, can please even the most pretentious reader [Gul 1955]. The author considers Georgy Ivanov's stories, the so-called "second novelistic period". Here the researcher focuses her attention on the analysis of the style and genre of these stories.
