TRANSFORMATION OF RUSSIAN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE BILINGUAL'S SPEECH

Abstract: 

It is acknowledged that the highest level of mastering another language is mastering its phraseology. However, the process of mastering the idiomatic level of a foreign or non-native language is difficult. Is assumes overcoming of errors, substitution, and transformation. The presented paper reflects the results of analysis of recorded spontaneous speech of the bilingual (the speaker of Azerbaijani and Russian languages), and identification of several groups of transformations of phraseological units, depending on the nature of errors.
