In their semantics phraseological units reflect a long process of cultural development of people, recording and transferring cultural attitudes and stereotypes from generation to generation. The number has additional symbolic values in the cultural system of symbols. Therefore it is a semiotic multi-functional sign. That is why the study of phraseologisms with the numerals defines (from the point of view of identification) the cultural-typological range of values reflected in them.
