Approbation of results of dissertation research and scientific innovations

In the post-Soviet states, approbation of results of a dissertation research traditionally is a necessary part of its preparation for defence. The corresponding information section is also a necessary element in the introduction of a dissertation itself, which is composed in these countries in accordance with state standards.

In most developed countries of Europe and America, approbation of results of scientific research is not so formal, but any author of a research (idea) performs it on his own initiative in order to confirm the consistency of his approach to the solution of a scientific problem.

As a general rule, approbation means a critical evaluation of research by the scientific community and estimation of the informational (analytical) quality of author's research in order to ascertain their suitability for achieving the results intender by a researcher.

Approbation stimulates an author to reconsider his research and improve it with respect to its depth and quality, helps a researcher to confirm or realize the need to review certain scientific statement, as well as to find the right methods for such improvement.

Of course, the publication of materials that reflect the content of a dissertation research, both in electronic form and through the publication of collections of scientific works with the author's material of an applicant for a degree is a mechanism for approbation of results of a dissertation research. Even more the category of "approbation of scientific research" is met by the factor of participation of an interested person in a research analytics championship organized by the IASHE, in which the author's corresponding statements undergo a real critical assessment (both as the circumstances of the actual evaluation of a report and by commenting on the author's work) by representatives of the scientific community (in our project, these are international experts and other participants of the project). Moreover, in this case, in contrast to passive participation in a scientific conference, the author can clearly understand the level of actual preparedness of his scientific research (some of its statements) and the validity of his conclusions, as well as to receive sensible observations and recommendations from colleagues.

Finally, if the participant succeeds in the championship obtains an international diploma, this will be a clear evidence of appreciation of his research by the scientific community and the confirmation of its successful approbation!

We sincerely wish you success in the project, scientific work and everyday life!
